Clio Kill Black XP Collection Eyeliners

Bigger, Blacker, Bolder!
The launch Clio fans will kill for - the Kill Black eyeliners are now more intensive, more waterproof, and longer lasting than before.

This season's must have is the little black liner and Clio just upped the bar with a new formula that makes its existing collection bigger, badder, and more break-out worthy than before.

Already iconic bestsellers, Clio Kill Black liners have been raved about for delivering hot and haute looks without compromising on quality. This time, they just got even better!

1. Greater Carbon Content
Kill Black uses a new carbon black formulated in Japan that offers a richer and stronger black. In addition, the new version comes with a higher concentration of carbon (upped to 7g from 6.8g)

2. A New Ink Tank Container
This improved container provides better sanitation, and also delivers a smooth and controlled formula release for easy drawing.

3. A Longer-Lasting Formula
Kill Black uses an exclusive film formula that has better waterproofing ability, and stays longer on skin without smudging or disappearing.

4. Better Care for Your Eyes
Kill Black is now more moisturising for the eyes. thanks to the addition of a humectant called 1,2-Hexanediol, which also has antimicrobial properties.

5. A Smoother Glide
The improved moisturising properties also mean that the new formula allows for a smoother glide so everyone can now line their eyes with ease.

Clio Waterproof Brush Liner Kill Black/Brown, S$25.90
This set comes with a makeup remover that thoroughly removes the waterproof eyeliner without needing much effort.

This brush liner offers super-fine precision, allowing for greater experimentation. It is definitely a go-to tool whether you want Sophia Loren's full-on winged out peepers or Brigitte Bardot's sexy cat-eye. It is easy to draw different eyeline thickness with this brush liner and ends off with a perfect wing finish without smudging of ink.

My Rating: 4.5/5

Clio Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black/Brown, S$22.90

The pen liner glides smoothly over eyelids with precision, offering a deep black/brown intensity. Waterproof and long-lasting make me love this eyeliner very much. This eyeliner also allows me to have maximum control in the thickness of my eyeline with an easy to use soft yet firm pen brush. The thin tip also allows me to reach into deeper area of my eyelids and draw thin fine eyeline with great control.

My Rating: 4.5/5

Clio Waterproof Pencil Liner Kill Black in 002 Kill Brown, S$17.90

It is talc and paraffin-free, making it great for sensitive eyes. Great for those who prefer the softness of pencils to the stark look of liquid liners, giving a more natural appearance. This is budge-free, smudge and sweat-proof. I love the softness and natural appearance of this liner but it isn't as easy to apply as a liquid eyeliner.

My Rating: 3.5/5

Comparing Brush. Pen and Pencil liners, we can note the difference in colour intensity. It is easy to control for all the liners, making eyelining an easy, fuzz-free and faster process.

These Clio eyeliners are available at Watsons Singapore.

  1. is there a difference between the brush and pen liners?

    1. Hi Anon,

The pen head of the pen liner is firmer and easier to use for beginners as compared to the brush liner. However, if one wants to be able to draw finer line, the brush liner would give greater flexibility.
