Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay

Dear lovelies,

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay is back again this year with programmes lined up!
We spent an enjoyable sisters' time admiring the christmas lights and visiting their festive market.

Christmas Wonderland this year is more extensive than last year's, so it involves quite a bit of walking to cover the area but there are also sufficient resting space around the area to rest tired legs or chill under the night sky.

In terms of activities, there are a number of attractions to make this a great place for family with kids and it involves extra spending but the entrance fee is minimal, so it is generally affordable.

Unique gifts and treats are also in store at the Festive Market for all visitors to enjoy while food aficionados can head to ‘Slice of SAVOUR’ to indulge in more exciting culinary offerings.

Festive Market and 'Slice of SAVOUR':

There are a variety of food to fill our hungry stomach at Christmas Wonderland while experiencing the cool night's breeze after the rain.

Visitors can also look forward to free choral performances and Yuletide Sessions featuring a myriad of local talents including Joanna Dong, Rani Singam and Andrew Lim and have a go at the carnival rides and games.

Carnival rides and games:

The main attraction at Christmas Wonderland is definitely their stunning seven-storey high (22 metre) luminarie mirror maze and I cannot resist taking countless of photos of this magnificent structure.

Mirror Maze:

This year there is also a bigger Santa’s Grotto which boasts a mesmerising kinetic light installation from Germany. Step in for insta-worthy festive installations and meet Santa!

Santa's Grotto:

Another highlight is the Singapore’s largest outdoor skating rink specially flown in from Switzerland. However, the size of the skating rink looks more appropriate for kids. I'm more attracted to their Christmas tree and lights instead.

Skating rink:

Another not to be missed is the brand new Garden Rhapsody – The Christmas Special light and sound show at the Supertree Grove where we got to see the beautiful lights dancing to the tune of Christmas songs. Watch the Supertrees come alive with multi-colored illuminations! Must see!

Garden Rhapsody:

After the Garden Rhapsody, there was a short experience of 'snow' in the tropics.

If you love magic, be sure to catch a spectacular magic show by world-class illusionist Rob Lake, '2018 America's Got Talent' quarter-finalist to experience mind-blowing illusions.

Last but not least, photo-taking with the Christmas lights and that kind of sums up our evening at Christmas Wonderland.
