Review: Facial Treatment at Body Contours

Hi lovelies,

Welcome back to my blog! In this post, I would like to share with you my facial experience at Body Contours.

I initially wanted to try their 3D Guasha Facelift treatment but unfortunately, my skin was experiencing breakouts, so I tried their Derma Radiance facial instead.

I visited their branch at RB Capital Building and despite being at a central location, the place is really huge and it gives me a comfortable feel the moment I stepped in.

The whole facial procedure began with double cleansing to remove dirt and makeup from the skin.
I am also pleased to know that Body Contours uses Murad skincare products for the facial treatment as I am a fan of Murad products and they never give me any irritation.

Once the cleansing was done, I went through the steaming process to prep the skin for extraction. This was a good time to take a nap as the bed was comfortable and the air-con temperature was also just right.

After the steaming, I had to go through extraction. I know that I had quite a number of clogged pores and it must be difficult for the therapist to pay so much attention in clearing my skin yet not causing much pain. Through this process, most of the time I was able to enjoy my beauty sleep as I did not experience much discomfort or unbearable pain.

After the extraction was completed, the therapist even kindly asked if I would like to trim my eyebrows. Thanks for the additional benefit!

The following steps were application of skincare products as an aftercare for the extraction and also to hydrate my skin. During this process, I experienced face massage, eye massage and shoulder massage. It was very soothing as the therapist did the massages and I was definitely in a zen state. These massages were also good for blood circulation and detoxification.

The last step was the application of mask for skin whitening and hydration purposes. I was left in the room alone to relax while my skin absorbs all the required nutrients from the mask.

The end result on my skin was very satisfying as there was not much redness from the extraction and my skin was feeling hydrated and smooth. My skin was also glowing with radiance at the end of the treatment.

Overall, I am happy with the thorough and minimal pain extraction, the stress-relieving and detoxifying massages, and the amazing results of my skin after the treatment.

My rating: 5/5
(full marks given also because of Murad products used)

  1. You made a number of fine points there. I did a search on the matter and found a good number of people will have the same opinion with your blog.
