Review: Luxe Herbal Scalp Specialist Treatment

Luxe Scalp Specialist is the 1st Asian Herbs Scalp Specialist Center validated by certified Trichologist to combat scalp problem using premium Chinese and Ayurvedic herbs.

I was at Luxe Herbal Scalp Specialist Center to do my scalp and hair treatment, and in this post, I will be sharing my review about the treatment, the Before and After photos of my hair and scalp conditions, and lastly I will share a promo code in which you can use to enjoy this treatment at a steal.

The ends of my hair is dry and messy, and my scalp condition is quite bad. I have quit dying and perming my hair, and chopped off most of the length to allow healthier hair to grow. Now, it's time to treat my scalp.

Magnified scan of my hair roots and scalp revealed terrible truth of my hair and scalp conditions, and the reasons to my hair fall problem.

1) Oily scalp caused me to experience frequent itchiness of my scalp, resulting in broken skin due to scratching.
2) Dead skin cells clogged my hair follicles, making it difficult for my hair to absorb the nutrients to grow healthily, resulting in my hair becoming fine and brittle.
3) Lack of nutrients for my hair caused the reduction in hair pigments, thus my hair appears lighter in shade or turned white.
4) Stress and poor quality of sleep resulted in poor blood circulation, hence the appearance of redness on my scalp.

After understanding my condition, I was led to the treatment area to go through my session.

Magazines and iPad were offered for browsing and use while undergoing the treatment session. Longan tea and caramelized biscuit were served as well.

The first step of my treatment was Combing.

Combing is said to help improve blood circulation at the scalp area. Wooden combs were used and the process was super comfy and relax, and there was no tugging of my hair.

Second step was Wash.

The shampoo had a minty sensation to help remove oil residing on my scalp and for my hair follicles to better absorb nutrients. I enjoyed the shampooing process as my therapist did not scratch my scalp and the strength used was optimal accompanying with some head massages to help me relax. The shampoo used did not cause my scalp or hair to feel dry as well.

I love it that the hair wash area was kept clean and the seat was comfortable.

Third step was to apply Ginger wine

I was told that Ginger wine will open up the hair follicles and give us healthier hair after prolong usage. The Ginger wine was very gentle on my scalp, it gave a cooling sensation with no form of irritation.

Next, was the application of Herbal Mask followed by 30min of Steaming.

The herbal mask was applied to my scalp section my section, and my therapist was meticulous in ensuring that the herbal mask covered every inch of my scalp.
The hair mask treatment by Luxe Herbal Scalp Specialist is the only one in Singapore that combines the uniqueness of both Chinese and Ayurvedic herbs, to ensure customer experience the best of both world.

My head was then wrapped with cling wrap followed by 30 minutes of steaming for my hair to absorb the nutrients from the Chinese herbs.

After 30 minutes, I was led to wash off the herbal mask.

I felt pampered under the good hands of my therapist as she helped to wash off the herbal mask thoroughly yet not causing any discomfort. She also helped to wipe my wet hair and blew my hair to partial dry before apply hair tonic.

A heated herbal bag was also placed on my shoulder, giving my tensed shoulder muscles the relieve.

Hair Tonic was then applied to my scalp.
I was told that the hair tonic helps to strengthen the roots of my hair to minimize hair fall.

Next, my therapist gave me a really professional Scalp Massage.

The therapist used ancient Ayurvedic techniques of scalp massage to help me relax and improve blood circulation to the scalp that provide hair roots with nourishment.
The scalp massage was soothing and it is beneficial to the relief of headache and benefit those who suffer from insomnia.
Other than massaging my scalp, my therapist also gave me neck and shoulder massages.

Next, my therapist helped to comb and blow dry the ends of my hair before my Infra Heat Therapy.

Infra heat therapy enhanced the absorption of hair treatment into the scalp, ensuring maximum effectiveness. Instead of using hair dryer which is damaging to the scalp and hair, infra heat therapy is used to dry the hair while allowing nutrients to penetrate into the scalp.

After the treatment, it's time to check the condition of my scalp.
