Chic Kiss Love Event at Zouk

On 22 July 2012, the entire Zouk complex was transformed into an unofficial fashion mall for The Fashion Uprising. Furnished with constructed display racks, changing rooms and cash registers, Zouk was dressed to the nines with the pop-up storefronts of the 12 participating online labels as they came together in the name of collaboration and friendly competition.

I attended the event last week which was held at Zouk and had a crazy time enjoying my retail therapy and looking at all the beautiful clothing hoping that they can all disappear from the venue and reappear in my wardrobe. Haha. Wishful thinking.

Anyways, sharing some photos of what went on at the event. There is supposed to be a fashion runway which I really wanted to watch but it started quite late and I was there early cos of media preview, so I got impatient and went off. Bad me. :x

There were some mannequin placed around Zouk displaying fashion outfits from various blogshops.

Before the official opening of doors for the event, we had a media preview and Velvet Lounge was where the media event was held. This place is really cosy and nice. I like it very much!

1500 Love Potions were consumed on the day, with 25 percent of the proceeds going to the Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped; an initiative undertaken by Chic Kiss Love to give back to society.

If you missed the event, never mind, enjoy the photos and don't be sad that you weren't there to enjoy the awesomely reasonable prices. You can still check out their online blogshops or maybe hope that there will be a next Chic Kiss Love event.

The 12 brands housed under Chic Kiss Love are Dressabelle, Foggiare, Hollyhoque, Hungover Sundays, Kristine’s Collection, Lacepipe, Missypixie, Momoteapots, The Closet Lover, The Design Closets, The Stage Walk, Vogue Fashion House.

During the event, there was also free makeover by Maybelline for shoppers.

I've come to an end for this post. Thanks for viewing. :)

Love,
Yvonne
